As much as I like the idea of basements...i would never want one. I think i've seen way too many horror films to be able to happily go down into a basement by myself!

My brother-in-law lives in Berkley, and they have a basement, he has his home office down there and the kids play room is also there...but one day when my wife and I were home alone, and i went down there to do some clothes washing, i got really creeped out by the whole thing...i thought i heard something and I dashed out of there pretty quick...I don't know...i'm a bit fucked up like that :idk:

I much prefer a garage...my hope is, when we move back to oz, we get a place that has a garage, and I would sound proof the fuck out of it and that would be my doom room!

I don't like unfinished basements. My in-laws old place had a fucking sweet ass finished basement in their old place, but unfinished basements make me feel like I'm going to be murdered and eaten by something. Attics are good for storage, but that's about it - mine is always either 10 degrees or 1000 degrees.

dude my basement would change all yer minds
looks spoooky as can be
huge chunky stone foundation
old ass beams
i have chain rope and wire hangin everywhere
but with all the toys youd feel so comfy
you could build your guitar
then go blast it in the jam room
while i change your oil and brake pads
and my girl puts your face on a naked ladys body
my basement is my salvation
also coming soon
a goshdarned ellectric chair
just for fun
so fuck upstairs
thats where the joneses stay boring
basements are where degenerates feel normal

Basement's are the best. My bedroom is in the basement, I may be biased.

There's like 2 basements in denton tx. They've both been house venues in the past. Basements are great for shows, practice, whatever. No bad guys get close when I'm bassin'

My basement is definitely a cool little spot.

Got all my rigs. Got my computer so I can peruse the Doom Room. Got my PS3 and PS2 and my stereo and record player and records. Got that Wee Fee so I can be on the net with the iPad if I want -- just chillin' with my lil pitbull on one of several couches. Maybe play some cards. Do laundry. Got that laundry shoot. Pimp squad, man. Really cool like.

Never been creeped out down here. In my parents basement - definitely used to get creeped out there but also made it my bedroom so that did a lot to dispel any notions of discomfort.
