I got my Depth Charge today!

I've been looking for a pedal with really good low end that isn't super scooped sounding

Also good to hear Jwar. I think Mesa stuff sounds pretty good, their cabs sound very deep in a great way. Haven't played your new amp

One thing to note is that it's not the B7K. I started pulling pedals off my board and plugging them in individually to see if they hissed and I haven't figured it out yet. That's fucking annoying. Now I see why the whole huge board thing fucks shit up. UGH. Oh well. I'll figure it out. Could be a bad patch cable too. Fucking hate god damn patch cables.


Chet, that's a good question. A lot of good pedals are scooped sounding for bass...hmm. I dunno man. That's really tough.

HOLY FUCKING BONER. Duuuuude.

I mean if you're looking for something with good low end and dynamics, the Depth Charge keeps them in tact well and so does the DMB Bumble (seriously one of the best toned bass fuzzes out there).

What's nice is that this was brand fucking new. I'm thinking it may have been a floor model because of the discount, but the sales tag on it is still full price. I scored a killer deal dude.

Don't get me wrong -- they're super rad amps, but I think there's a whole bunch of people that won't use them because of the association.
