Oof. That black one. Bonertown, USA. Population: THIS GUY RIGHT HERE
thanks
I've just ordered my usual light set of strings for the black one (30-50-70-90) but I'm going to save the .90 and add a .025 for a top string - so I can tune it ADGC and see what that sounds like through my pedals. I've had both of the basses tuned BEAD in the past (when I was playing ska/reggae) and I've owned a couple of 6 strings so I thought it might make for an interesting experiment.

Posted in the GAS thread, but I finally got my mitts on one of behndy's old basses he was selling.
Dean 6 string bass. EMG-HZ pickups, after market kill switch, stickers.
Thing is pretty boss. Anyone who has seen our resident bass monster play one of these knows how pimp it sounds. I'm no where near on the level that hes at, but the range on this thing is super useful.
The short n sweet version of this is behndy is a dope ass human and everyone should buy things when he sells them.
Also, couldn't help but notice he was selling a second one of these in blue. Blue and orange, portal reference? Maybe?
Maybe conspiracies.

Big fan of the natural finish on that bass man, looks dope. The black one is clean as hell too. Good stuff.

My new parts P bass, just finished assembling it and getting it setup over the weekend. I made the body out of a single piece of pine, a luthier I know painted it satin black for me, maple board Mighty Mite neck and tuners I got used off Talkbass, Dimarzio Model P pickup, Emerson prewired guts, Fender "pure vintage" hardware off ebay. Plays and sounds great.

That looks soon fucking good. It makes me want to set my jazz bass on fire and build a copy of that.

It's my favorite P pickup. I had one in the MIM P that I used to have. Really hot and mid present, though you can get a more vintage tone by lowering it if you want. It's only $60 new too.
