Actually just snagged a Context in bstChetMagongalo wrote: What kind of verb are you looking for? I found the Context great for ambient and longer decays but I really didn't like it for anything else. I found it to be kind of gated and sterile but
I play a lot of stoner doom stuff (poorly) but eventually I always sneak black metal style riffs and chords into songs. I'm just looking for a haunting, ambient reverb to kind of drown my guitars while retaining definition, especially in barre chords when I'm strumming somewhat fast. I couldn't seem to get my RRR to do this. Everything got too jumbled and I just couldn't find the sweet spot on the mix knob. I have it up for sale but if it doesn't sell I'm fine with it, using it on my small board currently and it is still an amazing verb. I think the extra flexibility of the Context will help. Think it'll work for what I want?

A B Custom cab. Skully has one of his too. He's a really nice dude and his price quotes are very, very reasonable. Mine is a 1x15 w/ a WGS G15C. It'll get here this coming Tuesday and I can't waitryan summit wrote:show off

Prymaxe is having a 20% off sale and I'm trying to resist. Can't really think of anything I want that badly though so I'm hoping I'll pass through black Friday, wallet unscathed. I try to avoid Prymaxe but 20%, fuck.
