Mine should be here sometime next week (along with other Dr.Sci stuff :erm: ), can't wait!
I don't see myself buying much gear this year other than maybe the new Red Panda Radius but first i've got to get rid of some stuff.

A new EQD pedal is coming out on thursday and by the short teaser on IG my guess is that's some kind of ring-mod or similar. Makes sense, it's probably the only "standard" modulation effect that's missing in their line.

I had kind of wondered if Moog offshoring some manufacturering might have led to returns of the pedal lines from the source, but you take what you clang get.
That squatty enclosure...yick. Also, RingerBringer is the worst name since TriceraChorus.

i prefer that to the preposterously oversized Moog enclosures. i think i'd have to tape over the name, though...i usually don't care about that sort of thing, but i'd go "god, that's dumb" every time i looked at it.

In honor of Dashiell Hammett, they should have called it Ing-Bing.

In fact... The Glass Key also would have worked for a ring mod.

The OG Moog PCBs were ridiculous, so the chop squat of this Warm device seems like it might be two big squares insteadda three....maybe? The blurry image search results are suspect, but probably close enuff 2 thee reel ting.

I'm just impressed they included all the expression options. Still probably wouldn't get it though. :idk:

Also, a little skeptical this totally lives up to all "King of All Ring Mods" hype that people are layin' on it, but seems like a fun pedal:

I'd like to hear someone play one into a Whammy. :snax:

at least the actual ring mod sound is decent, which is more than can be said for the other stunt ring mods that have come out recently. i guess manufacturers now want ring modulators to be yet another multi-mode modulation device run off an LFO. if that's the sort of thing you like, then this is the sort of thing you'll like. until and unless they make a stunt ring mod that sounds as good as my Randy's Revenge in plain old ring mod mode v1 i'm out. i also have no interest whatsoever in any pedal that requires a 1:15:00 demo. my life is too short to invest that much time in a little metal box.

:idk: I'm mainly gonna get it for the frequency shifter. All the other stuff it can do is icing. :snax:

Shit, I'd happily pay extra just for the momentary footswitching.

The Radius sounds good to me and seems to cover a lot of ground- it can do most of what the EHX Ring Thing and zvex ringtone can do, plus other cool modulation stuff- especially those Shepherd options. I’d love to compare it with the mf-102 and just see where the core sound is different.
