I'm acquainted with the head chef (he is in one of the bands that Mecha Shiva plays with regularly. Actually one of the best acts in Spokane,...a band called Hooves),...so it could be a sure thing. $11 an hour,...32-38 hours a week. Hours are different from what I'm used to. 2ish-10:30ish PM five days a week (could be worse). That's to be expected though, must cooks work when the rest of the world is off. I've only really worked at lunch type establishments. If I get it this would be my first legitimate restaurant job.

Nice! :thumb:
Good luck, though it sounds like your odds are already favorable.

After a couple years of restaurant night shift I'm ready to move on...the schedule is great for some situations, but I miss being able to actually do things at night.

The wife isn't too stoked on the prospect. She has a 9 to 5,....but I'm trying to get some momentum going with Heavy Drone Noise Machines and without any capital to invest it's going nowhere. We couldn't afford to rent a house (with a shop) which is what we want to do,...I can't afford tools,...I can't afford parts.

Ideally I'd like for that to be my main source of income so I can work from home, but in order to get the ball rolling on that I need to start making some money.

Honestly as much as I don't want to work the back of another house; this sounds like a good challenging opportunity. My biggest gripe with restaurants is who I've had to work for. Looking at my resume,...all food service jobs; I've worked for one con artist/tax dodger, one hot head republican, and one amateur who complained about not making any money meanwhile had $3000 Macbook Pros for personal use delivered to the cafe, drove a Mercedes and lived in a half million dollar house.
