Shit, Elon over at Custom District says my board will ship out on Monday! Basically a 2 week turnaround from when I sent monies. Espescially impressive with the added delay for powder coating the dang thing.

i was temmmmmpted to go baby blue (did you see the PT Flight boards they had in different colors? kinda hawt.) but black is solid.

Yep, I went with zee black. I probably would have been just fine with al naturale, seeing as all my SA stuff is raw metal colored...but the black was too hard to resist...plus my midi controller and bypass strip are black as well. Also tracked down a used DC10, so I should be good to assemble as soon as the board gets here.

HAWT. are you doing tiers? i'm mad looking forward to playing with design, but the way he has his tiers laid out i think... there might be room to use smaller straight plugs instead of right angle 'uns. which i'm kinda interested in.

So, did anyone see all that rare shit that went cheap on Talkbutt yesterday? I paid for the Schumann Lion, somehow stumbled in there purely by chance. It should arrive on Friday. I've never purchased something, anything, with the express intent of selling it, immediately, for a higher price. Ever. I have no idea what they are worth these days, since hype machines come and go like the wind. So I'm a little conflicted... would it be a total dick move to ask for $400 on TGP? I'd also totally trade it for anything Toneczar or BJFE. Unless of course the thing changes my god damn life, which is pretty unlikely given that I don't even like distortion pedals. Thoughts?

Board foot print is a couple inches wider and 2.5" shorter than a Jr with a skinny upper tier. Everything on the upper tier will be connected to a bypass looper on the bottom level. In the front of the bottom level will be my simple midi controller and bypass looper. Underneath the upper tier will be the power supply, SA hub unit, Octaver (in the first bypass loop but won't need to be accessed as I keep the same settings and likely my Diabolik. If I've measured it right, there should be room for my expression pedal to lay on the back for transportation. Should also make it so I don't have to disconnect any cables when packing it up. Right now my midi cable sticks out the rear and it has to be removed before it can go in the case.

I started to type $500 but even saying it here made me feel dirty. Should've bought the Behemoth as well, but that's okay, if I sell this thing I'll probably buy a Magnetar with my ill-gotten gains!
