Looks like you have 3/4 cornerstones that lay the foundation for my favorite flavor of heavy harmonic feedback:
Shortscale, single coil (in series?) loaded guitar (w/rosewood fretboard) > DMM > Bassman or British derivative.

Only thing that's missing is a 2-transistor germanium or hybrid fuzz up front...but I suspect the Muff'n would sub np.

Also do tell more about your pickups and the amp+drivers etc.

Well the sparkle motion and cool buzz are both germanium, does that count? The Mustang's electronics are all upgraded, lace sensor blue in the bridge, still need to put a red in the neck. Amp is set clean as possible and all the kick comes from the Muff'n and/or Sparkle Motion for cleans. Together they make a hell of an overdrive.

But yeah, the mustang plus the blue pickup does supply that harmonic feedback when sustaining a note. Its the best.
