Is it heresy that I'm considering putting together a solid state, wireless rack setup?
Possibly forgoing fuzz in favor of throwing shit around.

I've been on an odd amp journey. Dug my solid state Eden but finally found bliss with my Mesa 400+ and two fEARful 15/6s. But that rig was HUGE. Which didn't bother me as I'm young....ish.....then the quints came along. The house became much more cramped. Traded in that rig for a Glockenklang Blue Soul and a FEARLESS 210. Not as amazing as all them tubez but with the Myco Three....could get me there. Now I have a bigger house. Addictive impulse, jumped on a Mesa Prodigy. Holy Shit. This thing is amazing. Fuck. Tubez. I mean. That toan. I'm going to try out the Glock Blue Sky just to make sure, and the Baer Valkyrie....but, though I'm only in the middle of my journey, solid state is for people that have to make concessions; size, cost, being behndy, etc.

Man, I remember life, pre-internet. That sucked. I went a year without internet access, that also sucked. That's all I have to say about that.

Also, porn is ridiculously easy to find now, remember before tumblr and all the youtube porn sites? You had to kinda dig around for stuff.

We just call it the "doom" room in the hope we might lure hipster girls there...into our rape vans....I mean vans of righteous wizarding.

 I agree totally. Speaking of which I need to track down a noisy preamp tube in my 400+ today… thankfully I have the 400 as a back up :thumb: still my best trade IMO: SVT & HD130 for that second mesa :thumb:

On the other hand I like the "behndy concept" of a super small amp, I just fear them breaking vs a tube amp which has 80+ years or people that know how to work on the things if they break and being able to deal with the small stuff DIY, plus they are just cooler looking :thumb:

And I mean that in a good way. Behndy.....does things.....I don't know......I'm convinced he has more gear than he lets on. Like he has some magic trick off camera line that goes through some other stuff that makes things sound better. I usually get a pedal that he demos and it's like, I get 60% of what his demos show but where the fack is that other 40% he's getting.

Had a lead guit in a band like that. Dude had the SHITTIEST gear. I mean. Fucking beginner trash gear. Me and the rhythm had $4,000+ rigs. And it wasn't like me and the rhythm didn't know our gear. We were good. We played around twiddled with it. Got to know it. But this asshole just had a stellar out of this world sound from that amateur stuff. I could never figure it out.

The only amp I've ever had break on me was solid state. In fact, I've never even had to replace a tube in any of my tube amps. :idk:
