you could get a cheap crybaby and fool around with that. If it's not doing it for you, you'll have a better idea of what you'll need in a wah/filter without having made a large investment already.

I need something that works with bass and guitar equally well and obvz works well with fuzz

Just snapped up a second OC-2 so I have one for rehearsals as well as at home.

I actually just ordered a 3 leaf proton yesterday. Not exactly cheap but the buying a cheap wah idea is a good one, to see if you think a filter would be useful for your style and stuff. :thumb:

Just ordered a bunch of parts from smallbear/ebay so I can finish building my PLL and another pedal or two, and for sprucing up a GE-7. A bag of op amps on the slow boat from China is almost as fun as new gear... almost.
