Whatup muddafuckas? Haven't been around too much this week, what's going on?
Oh and Deltz, I heartily approve of your decision, but what if you sell your Bongo, what's your main bass? I hope it's still something badass.

If you like buckers, don't sleep on the MP Jazz, similar price range as the Mexi's.

I would keep the Bongo if I could. I really dig the high C string, so much more useful than the low B IMO.
Here is the total story, gotta come clean with my Fuzz Bros. Any of you that are my FB friends, please don't write anything on FB about this:
My wife is pregnant! We are very happy and excited. Some of you may know that I have a 6 year-old daughter but the Mom isn't my wife. Crazy story about some of that situation but anyways, grateful that my daughter is now in my life. But back to the situation at hand, my ability to spend money on fun stuff for me is definitely going to be drying up for awhile. I have to renovate my garage and make that my man cave/office/jam spot, buy a decent sized metal shed to put all of the tools and stuff from the garage in. That frees up a huge room in my house to become the nursery. Then there is the cost of all the other stuff associated with having a baby.
So, I am going to make a few tough decisions. Downgrading bass and amp is hard, I have played bass for over 20 years. I LOVE my amp, but it is a lot of money tied up in an amp that I don't crank anymore, same for a really expensive bass. I am having so much fun exploring my modular, sampler, drum machine, synth, etc. that I am going to go ahead and put money into it and get another panel or two so that I can happily explore for years because it will be that long before I will have that much $ to drop on music stuff. I will still have a giggable bass rig in case I get time and the situation is right for a band plus I will record some bass with the modular and electronic stuffs.

Dude, totally understood and congrats! I myself started to delve down the modular rabbit hole last year and once I started tallying up all the shit I wanted in just my first Box11, I realized that it just wasn't happening until my son was in public school and I didn't have to pay for daycare anymore. So I sold most of it off (except for the enclosure) and kept the bass rig, because I have two bands going right now and that's really all I can concentrate on. But in 2 years when my son hits kindergarten, it's modular time!!!!

Congrats, duder!
In happy news on my end, I picked up the keys for a townhouse today! $25 more a month, and I'm going from a one bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom townhouse...WITH A finished BASEMENT. And it's an end unit, so I'll do a little bit of soundproofing on one wall, but I might FINALLY be able to crank my amp. I'm also just stoked to get out of apartment life.

So I'm not quite sure why the image turned out sooooooooo big here. LOL. It's big, but not that big. It's a piece of steel cut to 18x12.
So it's basically something you'd hang on your wall. I wanted to make some cool art pieces I can hang and advertise. Going to do another Geiger today later and then a portrait, our logo....other cool shit.
It turned out really, really good.

neaaaaaaat.
ugh. played a REALLY fun show last night. cool bill where every band was good, the guys that played last fit with us well so we're both geeked about playing together more, decently packed smaller bar/club. just fun as butts.
lol. and apparently it was a GOOD IDEA to get a Hot Hand/BEF2 setup again. 78% of every conversation afterwards started or meandered to "dood. WHAT WAS THAT BLUE LIGHT THING YOU HAD.".
also, apparently it was Touch The Awkward Shut In Human Night. people kept.... pawing me. in a friendly way. but it's hard not to jerk back and make a Wanna Hear The Worst Sound In The World Noise.
...... Paul's an ass. this drunk grrL comes over and is getting sloppy annoying and grabby because HE made eye contact with her. soon as it's apparent she's all up in the conversation i was having with him and two friends he looked inside and said, "oh? you need more for sound check?", giggled, then left. fucker. errrrrrerybody knew there was no soundchecks that night.
