flcl broke me when I first saw it. It was after it came out (2002?), we had a bootleg-by-way-of-Hong-Kong DVD. Don't ask me how we got that DVD, I have no idea.

Watched it all through in one night. Spent the next two weeks watching FLCL every night.

I will admit to watching it enough times to have the whole thing burned into my memory... and I just picked it up on blueray

I always really enjoy anime when I watch it but I just never watch it.
