The mail people are celebrating some long dead Italian today, I'll refrain from spring boarding into political commentary, but let's just say I'm bummed I can't plop some outgoing down.
I expect yours will be in the mail tomorrow Dandolin, don't judge me by the tidiness of your guts - it was a multi-rev span that one (in fact I still have to change out a switch for another position).

Thanks Dandolin, UG, and neonblack! I'm getting better, haha.
Here is the Dirty Doper with a BK Precision Frequency Generator. I tried to keep the oscillations from the freq gen in audible range...same settings as before (well, changed the volume a bit because it got loud).

Not the best video, but shows some of the ring mod, other amplitude/AM effects, and a really nice ability to blend between droning noise and guitar. The thing just gets deeper.
Yea, get a frequency generator. The dirty doper made me get one and it was totally worth the $30 off ebay. The theremin-like, osc noise horse at the end is just me turning the knob on the frequency generator. (Most of the time I stayed on the Sine and Saw waveforms).
(removed sentence of imcomplete thought...was thinking of something...but forgot) I also love the ability to leave CV connected and still be able to turn it off.

I'm getting the doper rosetta stone!
Also,
lg-thanks for that second demo--these are hella deep pedals!

I gotta test running this thing at 18v and see if there is any audible difference. Been running it at 9v. Also still haven't tapped into the looping potential. I did play some bass through it and it was great, it just reminded me how much I have ignored bass...
Hopefully I will get to test some more this week...
Question on the tetanus booster that I keep forgeting to ask...the banana connections work almost like a bleed/voltage diverter so that it doesn't send spikes down the instrument line to protect stuff that doesn't like highish voltage or am I misunderstanding something? I did notice that it was connected directly to the outputs which is why I though it was a little weird (and why I asked about it). Interesting stuff. Still going to pick one up, just trying to get a handle on it.

There should be a noticeable jump in behaviour between 9 & 18 volts, I want to say you start running into diminishing returns at about 14 volts, but honestly I haven't spent nearly enough time investigating. Look forward to hearing your take on it.
Regarding the Tetanus Booster, maybe this will help?
Output 1 goes directly to the 1/4" output pair, there is a PCB level connection between the output1 point and buffer1 point, the live banana jack is fed from the emitter of Q4 - so any weirdness going on beyond that point would have to travel back through the unity buffer of Q4 to reach the standard output jacks.
Mind you, that's just the standard configuration. I can also disconnect the Q4 section and feed it from one of the three 1/4" jacks or another banana feed and essentially treat it as an independent circuit that just happens to share the power supply.
While we're at it, standard configuration is a dual gang pot running VOL1 & VOL2 simultaneously, but it could be configured for a pre/post. I've had favourable feedback so far, I'm just not going to start pushing them until I buy a cage in the shark tank and I'm not doing THAT until all the Dirty Dopers have shipped (WORKING ON IT).

I'm still like the guy on public access TV who got a random lucky break and is trying to move all my shit into a nice professional studio and every last one of the boxes has a rotten bottom and so I keep spilling well worn and crinkled porn in front of the money people.
Not feeling ready to embark on collaborative efforts, though as an idea it's a nice ray of sunshine to drive toward.

WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK IS TAKING THIS GUY SO DAMN LONG?!
Oh, wait, wrong side of the fence here. So, I could bore you all with a long winding epic of what is causing my incompetent ass to perpetually not meet my targets, but I'm thinking about taking the non-boring coward approach to it. Here is where I'm at:
Pretty much ALL of the "hard" stuff (like stuffing the LEDs) is fully complete. The mode switches, while mostly not mounted are mostly pre-wired, with exception of final mode which nests in with the rest of the shit too much to benefit from a pre-assembly. Chances are I'll have to coerce a couple of the enclosures to sit flat, so if yours shows up with a dent and some blood stains you have my apologies.
Here's a shot of some rev 2 (four on the left) next to the currently outstanding rev 1. At this point, you might wind up with a rev 2 PCB should the rev 1 fail final test, nice to have that safety net.
So really, with the exception of the guts open unit that simply refuses to work correctly, everything is lined up on the final stretch.. which is where the nuts and bolts begin to fly and comedy terror ensues. I'm donning my hardhat and flame proof suit, we going to have a party.
Long story short: THERE WILL BE PENDING SHIPMENT NOTIFICATIONS SOON. I'm already discussing this with one of you, but if anyone else needs to change their ship to address - NOW IS THE TIME TO GET AT ME.
Thank you all for your astounding patience through this pre-order ordeal. First beer's on me if we ever actually cross paths. Let it be known, pre-order is not a compatible approach with my working style/built in skill-limitation set. This has been an educational experiment, and I've reached the conclusion that pre-paying builds is for the birds. SO - with the exception of full custom work (which is going to take forever, look elsewhere) RMA will not be doing anything on a pre-order basis. IF YOU SEE ME FLOGGING A PRE-ORDER IN THE FUTURE - REFERENCE THIS POST AND GET ONE FREE RMA PEDAL OF YOUR CHOICE. Offer will only be good for one unit, first come - first served, and your "identity" will go on record.
