I had started a recording and lost half of it last week. New Moog delay was delivered today. Gonna keep my son at daycare and let my wife pick him up today so I can record something new and fresh...

I was happy with the stuff I made, but really irritated at my workflow. I got new patchcables that are longer than 6" now and going to try and replicate/diagram and see how I want to record (via amp/room, direct into 8-track, or "live" direct in the computer). Also might integrate the new stuff when the Moog (thanks again, skullservant) and others arrive. But I am going to stay away from everything and get some real work done on the kitchen first (ha, should just record me cutting tile...I've done it with snap-cutting cast iron before).

Phew, this is harder than I imagined. But I've got a backbone.

This is always the answer.
If i ditch the one i did already my next plan is recording a contact mic'd air compressor for one minute, then stretching it to 10 minutes and burning it onto a cd, then scratching the cd and playing it on a shitty walkman into pedals.

By time I finished up my paperwork for the day yesterday and would have left to go get him, my wife had just gotten off of work and he's on the way home for her. I didn't feel as bad that way. Plus he loves daycare cause they have 3 doggies that he adores

I scrapped all of the previous guitar that I had recorded and laid down something completely different yesterday. I need to add bass and some more things

Not gonna drone for this comp but seeing this thread inspired me to plug my circuitbent casio vl-tone into the pedalboard and turn on all the modulation: (with the grand orbiter rate and tap tempo tremolo rate turned all the way down)

Predator noises and machine gun fire. Pretty rad. Missing from this is me twisting knobs and controlling the oscillation because I'm terrible at turning knobs and taking video at the same time.

So now I gotta ask: Is this drone?
