I think after I pay off the rest of the Obstructures I might build another guitar. I'm thinking a Telecaster with ebony stain with a super thin Peavey neck

Well I was able to trade to get the body back! The bridge and control plate will be here next week.
EVENTUALLY (probably after Christmas) I will be getting a baritone neck for it to finish it off.
There was a little bit of damage from a bow to the one side of the body (as you can see on the left side of the picture) that has been sanded down for refinishing, but I'm not sure if I will actually make the effort to restain the area of the body or just leave it as it is. It's not a huge area, so I might just take some more gunstock oil to it and call it a day.
I dropped the old Phat Cat back into the neck for now. I think I might leave it, the only other thing I would consider putting in the neck cavity would be a Deathbucker or the regular Alumitone Humbucker

THANK YOU to AA for the trade to get my favorite guitar back!

Yeah, that's my vote.

Gives it some character.

I think so too! Plus I wouldn't have to worry about having to match up the darkness of the new stain with the old one, etc etc.

You rule!

I'm usually not much for relics, but at least this wear is real!

If I got money for Christmas I was originally going to put it toward redoing my Valve Junior, but I think I might just use it all on putting the Baritone neck on instead. I miss having a baritone pretty bad, and having this fixed bridge system will be a lot easier to set up than the Baritone Jazzmaster was

Phat Cat rules man! Tons of volume, nice growl to it. Lots of clarity. I love it!

Yeahhhh buddy.
+1 on leaving it as is, just adds character. Best part of a thin finish like that is wearing it out.
