The username & avatar thread

Mine's a simple mashup of my first name and Sanjuro, the title of a Kurosawa samurai flick, which roughly translated means thirty. Some major life changes when I hit the big 3-0, so I invented and adopted the username as a reminder.
The avatar is a painting of the man himself.

Mine is the name I use when I do some arty shit. it is actually a play on words; Glen is my first name and grenouille means frog in French. I'm French but live in the UK where French people are sometimes called frogs.
The avatar was the first pedal I drew for a piece I did for a Tonefactor contest a few years back. (apologies for the size of this thing, I got carried away and it ended up being massive )

the original is a tintype i mounted in a frame on our wall
to get it down and scan it again would be a pain
so i had to change it up
