Re: Netflix streaming
I've been watching a lot of Foreign movies lately. I've always been partial to them anyway because they are sooooooo much more crazy than American movies usually. Watch a bad ass one the other night called War of the Arrows. Not a ultra gore fest or anything like that, but really fucking well done and cool ass story. Check it out if you haven't. So good.

Do they have B-movies aplenty on Netflix? Like can I watch "Warriors of the Wasteland" WHENEVER I WANT?
What about like...do they have stuff like Tetsuo: The Iron Man?
Achtane, have you ever seen Sinya Tsukamoto's Tokyo Fist? It's probably my favorite movie ever but not the best film ever. I saw it in Austin in the early 90's at a midnight show at a place called the Dobie theater. This was before the internet so I had not seen a trailer but had seen Tetsuo so I kinda knew what I was in for. Definitely similar to Tetsuo but slightly not as weird, I guess due to the love triangle. Darren Aronofsky admitted to being heavily influenced by the film in an interview during the Requim for a Dream days. The endings of both movies are very similar although Tsukamoto's is more intense. I think a film reviewer for the Austin Chronicle wrote that Tokyo FIst was like seeing John Zorn's Naked City on the screen. After reading that I had to check it out. A perfect midnight movie, his cinematography in that one is pummeling.
He has a new one called Kotoko that looks promising.
I'll need to check out Tetsuo the Bullet Man on Netflix. I don't have internets in my home but I'm dogsitting for a week for a friend so I'm bbqing everyday and catching up on my netflix. Been watching Top of the Lake, the Jane Campion series, which is pretty good.

Re: Netflix streaming
I'm having surgery this week, so I need a whole lot of awesome stuff to watch for the next 6-12 weeks.
Planning on watching all of the original Star Trek and Next Generation, Breaking Bad, old Doctor Who and whatever else I can find. Any suggestions?

Oh, and you guys have watched Blue Mountain State right? Completely stereotypical treatment of jocks at a football school that is highly entertaining and worth repeated viewings. Thad is quite possibly one of my favorite comedy characters of all time.

The name seems familiar, but nope...I'll have to check it out now, thanks. Sounds awesome
I haven't seen the new Tetsuo but I'm kinda afraid to 'cause it kinda looks like butt. Maybe I'm being too pessimistic though.
