Poly Grace is a Fuzz. It has the most variations of sounds ever, it can be an amp too if you plug it into 16 ohm speaker. It is just all things to everyone pretty much.

I got to play with a Polygrace out of Behndy's ridic tourbox. It's got a stupid amount of different tones, the controls are crazy. I found that a lot of the fuzz tones had cool/weird resonances to them that were really unique. It has a stupendous amount of gain, I'm not surprised that you could actually drive a speaker with it.

It is super fun. It does ODish, Broken, Boost, Octaves jump in, Starve happens.
I think it has OpAmps in it.
2 stomp switches.

So…I may be selling my Dingwall AB1. Not because I don't love it, I don't see myself gigging with it for awhile, all of my serious attention is on making electronic music of some kind. So, I may step down to a Combustion, I found a MINT Matte Black one, it is a black and maple bass, usually I don't dig Maple necks but this bass looks sharp.

The other option I am thinking about is an EBMM Bongo 4 HH Buttercream. Bongos are weird looking but I don't care, they sound great. I also have been thinking about a Bongo 6er, but that isn't trading down as much….
I kind of need to get some $ out of the AB1 because it is a lot of money wrapped up in an amazing Pro bass that doesn't leave my bedroom these days.

I think time has pass enough that I can get a head. I was doing great on saving money but I tail spun out and racked up the visa bill again. ( I got back into PC building.... so yeah )

I tried to just play my board through my phone via the IRig but it just does not sound the same.

What say you gents? What is a good solid state head that has a headphone jack on it?

I love a really bright piano like sound on the bass and the Bongo is one of those weird shaped basses that if I was to collect instruments again that would be one I would love to buy. Tone of tonal options and its a monster slap machine.

I have had some EBMM basses with the same electronics as the Bongo and OMG, it is so versatile and it can sound like a beast. At one point my heavy sound when I was only gigging with my EBMM was that pre with the Mids up into a Darkglass B3K and my Orange AD200B. People would always ask me about them TOANZZZZZ
I love the looks and playability of the Dingwall, fanned frets are DOPE, long scale is great. I wish I could combine the 2.

The Genz Benz Shuttle is a pretty cool amp, and it has a headphone jack. I rocked a 3.0 for a while before I got the T00bz sickness, and Jrmz has a 6.0

That has a headphone jack? Hmm... Maybe MarkBass stuff? I hear ok things about those heads. I think my Acoustic B200H had one?

That has a headphone jack? Hmm... Maybe MarkBass stuff? I hear ok things about those heads. I think my Acoustic B200H had one?

Seems like everyone on TB is posting those micro GK heads. That might just work.
