Country's like everything else--some of it is ok, some of it is not. The Nasal Twang Pop Music I don't get down with, but I dig Kris Kristofferson's first record.

I really like the Eyes Adrift (Meat Puppets+Nirvana+Sublime say what?) record, and that's pretty country sounding.

Also, a lot of those early Dead albums are pretty country and I dig them a lot.

I totally understand that a lot of people feel this way. But I don't. It's not a value judgment on other people at all. I just can't find anything listenable or find any value in listening to any of it.

Mostly what is on the radio or TV when I'm forced to listen to it, along with a healthy dash of Willie Nelson, Traveling Wilburies and Johnny Cash that my mother subjected me to growing up.

Here's the thing, I'm not saying that it isn't possible there might be something out there I like, but I don't feel particularly compelled to expend effort to go trying to find country I like, when I've hated everything I've ever heard.

The Wilburies are beyond reproach. I don't really think of them as country, though.
