H9 has a midi inpit and an expression controller input. you'll plug the Ernie Ball into the expression input. then you can pick different parameters the expression control. like, you could have the same exact delay, and one patch you could go dry to full by controlling the mix knob, the other have it go from no delay repeats to infinite.Tendollarcat wrote:Eventide H9 and Ernie ball expression ordered![]()
I am borderline caveman with my pedal usage so something like this will either be good to learn or way beyond my brainpower. I like the sound options though. That's the appeal - more delay, verb and octave up in particular.
If someone can explain the difference between aux controllers and midi controllers and if I will need one as a dumbarse using a H9 in live rock band, I will be eternally grateful
Thanks Behndy! That's awesome man. Much appreciated.behndy wrote:H9 has a midi inpit and an expression controller input. you'll plug the Ernie Ball into the expression input. then you can pick different parameters the expression control. like, you could have the same exact delay, and one patch you could go dry to full by controlling the mix knob, the other have it go from no delay repeats to infinite.Tendollarcat wrote:Eventide H9 and Ernie ball expression ordered![]()

the H9's a beast. you need an iphone or ipad to get the most out of the controls though. i think they have a pc and android controller software? not sure.
when you get it in pm me if there's anything i can help with homie.
