aaaahh man that sucks, if it was first class mail I wouldn't get my hopes up.. I've had Auspost lose stuff like that before and if it's an unregistered parcel that you don't have to sign for they pretty much 'do an investigation' which turns up nothing..
you never know though.

Thanks, guys. Yeah, it sucks, and I'm completely bummed out. It was Priority Mail International, which means no signature was required, although their does appear to be a signature from the driver.
I keep hoping somebody will knock on the door and hand it over. I've had parcels delivered plenty of times that weren't for me and I've always made sure they got where they were supposed to. Where's my karma kickback?

That sucks so many dicks.
In Sweden you get a little note telling you to go to the post office to collect your stuff, so this doesn't happen. Not often anyways. In fact, I'm in line waiting to collect a Boss PS-5 as I write this. Whenever the extra effort of going and collecting a parcel gets too much I'll think of you horse dude.
Hope your pedz turn up.

You had some preorders easing you over, didn't you? Did you see that new Koma CV control / beat making thingie? (probably no Midi, thus not interesting to you, but still interesting.)

We only get the notes for like the fancy expensive signature/tracking mail services. Everything else they just leave it somewhere. Couriers are just as bad too. I've come home to my mustang bass just sitting on the doorstep in plain view, and whenever a pedal parcel doesn't fit in the mailbox they just leave it on top.
What if a rogue kangaroo got to it or something?

My postman is quite nice and will generally try his best for us and our mail. Couriers on the other hand, they can be dodgy. When I bought my Fryette Memphis back in 2011, the courier guy got lost trying to find my home. I live in the middle of nowhere, you see, and have no street names or door numbers, so basically if you don't know the area then you have to call ahead and be given directions. Anyway, he got lost and became pissed, so I offered to stand at the bottom of my drive so he'd see me. I did this for a few minutes, he turned up, opened the back, took the amp out, put it down on the wet ground and drove off. I then had to carry a 60lb amp up my long lane in the wet on my own, and I grazed my finger going through the doorway of my house and the wound never healed. It left a scar. Still, it was worth it. Best amp EVA!!

On my side no Need for the Koma - that is covered with the Moog mp201 for me. But cool product!
