72 Deluxe guitars are awesome. I have a Custom version from Japan with a Broadcaster single coil in the bridge and a shitty WRHB in the neck and it's awesome. The neck is fat and the guitar resonates well, like all good Telecasters. The bridge pickup was installed by the previous owner. It was made by the guy in the UK who makes Brian May pickups. I'll be replacing the WRHB—which isn't a real Wide-Range model at all. It's a cheap Fender humbucker in a Wide-Range enclosure that sounds super dull and dark—with a Creamery WRHB or a Lollar Regal. I might get a matching set from The Creamery of a Broadcaster and a WRHB, just to have the outputs matched perfectly, but I already dig the the pickup currently installed so I might just go for the Wide-Range Humbucker and be done with it.
