I've decided to start purging/saving to buy a new keyboard, most likely one of these

Only a temporary trade on the Dr. Sci though. They might both be chorus pedals, but they do such different things.

Btw which chorus are you liking better? I always thought it was funny how people recommend both interchangeably when asked for the "ultimate" chorus....they sound completely different and each have their own strengths.

I think I'm digging the Sea Machine more right now. But they both have killer vibrato. The Cosmi is almost too extreme for me at most settings. Makes me feel like a coward keeping the clock at minimum.

Re: What is in the post? The thread of and for GAS!
I got my hands on a Prophet 12 and a SubPhatty today and all I can say is WOW.
I have a Prophet 08 so I wasn't expecting the 12 to blow me away or anything but the layout is even better than before. Dedicated sections for each filter, each oscillator, etc., new ways to modulate the synth (the touchpads are great), and that improved screen makes things easier and more functional with less menus. The best part was the added delay section.
The SubPhatty was impressive for the sheer ease of use and sound quality. Such a classic sound in a very modern chassis (though that shape of the back still baffles me) and the range of the bass synth was surprisingly large.
The only complaint I had with the 12 was the knobs were wobbly (gotta wait for that PE edition), and for the SubPhatty the the shape/weight makes it hard to transport/gig with.
I don't see the 12 replacing my 08 anytime soon, but that SubPhatty (or any other monophonic Moog that isn't the Little Phatty) definitely is on my list for things to buy when I have loads of money to blow.

hee. blow.
i kinda have been lusting after a DSI Tetra. i had a desktop Evolver back in the day and loved the sounds, hated the interface. the Tetra has me MOIST.
urf. the T-Rez II was s'posed to come today. dooder says he shipped it on Saturday and would get me a tracking number and that it should be here by today. no tracking number, hope he's just lagging and i didna get my poo pushed in. he seems a regular on Mucf Wigglah though, so.... it's probably okay?
i guess he shipped UPS or FedEx? USPS takes like 2-3 days usually.
hurm. WANT.
