There was a guy that turned his jaguar bass into a bass vi pretty easily. I have a 20 year old MIM Fender jazz bass, Ive been thinking about putting some upgrades on it. New hipshot bridge, new pickups, and maybe maybe a new paint job, and maybe jaguar on and off switchs.
Anyone ever upgrade the pick ups on a jazz, and what would you go with? Ive been debating about fralins or duncans.

I had some aguilar super singles on a bass and they sounded really great. balanced and firm. I don't have much experience with changing out pickups though
