I'd love to get in on said tourbox. Of course I'd become poor afterwards :D

Fuck yeah Galaxicon.

I think I finnally figured out whats up with that wierd soundtronics amp. 200 watt bass amp anyone? Still need to decide If I want to redo it to use more conventional tubes. I'm not sure that anything is available that will do what the 8417's do.

KK so new amp day. nothing super excited just late 70s early 80s kustom bass III SS amp. 150 watts @ 4 ohms. sounds fucking great pairs up nicely with the sensurround horn. SO now im running 4 amps. . .

guitar or bass signal > morley aby pedlol > various pedlols going to various amps >

A side going rat > ampeg v2 > 2 sunn 4x12s EXT AMP OUT > redbear > 2x15 kustom cab

B side kustom bass III > folded horn > trace elliot 4x10 (no tweeter) EXT amp out > sunn > 1x15 cab

yeah yeah yeah the sunn only running a 1x15 is slightly superlame BUT its gonna make due for now.

this set up will prolly change by tomarrow though with the way ive been going all the sudden.

and yes its loud, and holy fuck does it sound godly with that 62 eb-0

Watched this recently - it's on Netflix. Really enjoyed it, and I'm not even a big Pentagram fan.

I'd never listened to Pentagram, and I enjoyed it. Very well put-together doc; recommended.

So I've been saving up for nothing in particular but I've been thinking about either getting a new cab or guitar. I would like an extra guitar to have it tuned at C specifically, but I would like another cab just because I think mines sounds okay at best.

Also if I get a cab is an emperor worth it or should I seek out something like an old sunn? last question do any of you guys use guitars like jags or jazzy's for teh brootz?

A couple of the guys here play Telemasters and Telecasters. I like Jazzmasters and I want one now, but I can't justify spending loads of money with no space in my flat

Emperor cabs are awesome but buy used. Their customer service fucking sucks. If they fuck your cab up they blame it on you and give you the biggest runaround you have ever seen. I'll never buy from them again. Mammoth cabs are cheaper and built just as good from what I hear.

I will echo Conky's sentiment, if ordering new get Mammoth only get Emperor if they are used. Also I use Jag's, tele's and Telemasters for the brootz. As of right now though my tele and telemasters are in E standard for use in my band, but I also have a Baritone Jaguar setup in Drop G that is uber brutal. I used to have a couple Jazzie's and with the right pickups and bridge combo they sound awesome in drop tunings, but they require alot of tweaking to get right in comparison to other offsets that all ready have humbuckers and fixed or stop-tail bridges. If your going to go that route get a classic player jazzmaster, they have higher output p90 style pickups and a TOM bridge making it alot easier to set them up for drop tunings. I kind of miss my old CP Jazzie....

What kind of cab do you currently have and what kind of guitars do you have?
