It would sometimes not pass signal when turned on (maybe 1 out of 5 times) and now the switch won't click when i press it? It's not wonky and no loose wires, I haven't even used it outside the bedroom yet

I wouldn't really care if it weren't for that fact that getting it repaired is gonna take forever cos of international shipping so now I won't have it in time to record with.

Hmm I do have a 3PDT lying around somewhere.
I have very little confidence in my soldering skills though, and it would void the warranty.. I'll see what EQD have to say first anyway.

I've got one I can stick in if you want. I'm pretty sure it'd still void your warranty though.

I'll make sure they agree it's the switch and then shoot you a PM then, not too fussed about warranty as long as it's fixed by someone who actually knows what they're doing. Thanks!

I love EQD, but I've had the worst luck with their footswitches... 3 of the pedals I've had from them have had funky/broken bypass switches. My monarch had the exact same problem you're describing, so I sent it in for a replacement footswitch and it works perfectly now. I don't know how fast they can get it to you since you're in Australia, but it took less than a week from the time I mailed it to the time it returned back to me.

I'd write EQD and see if you can exchange it with one of their Australian dealers, even though none appear to be in Sydney and you'd have to do it by mail, but at least it would be quicker than sending it overseas.

Ahah yeah this is the first EQD pedal I've even tried but I do know a guy who has probably a dozen of them and has never had a problem so I guess I just got unlucky.
Shipping takes about 2 weeks, which is bearable when ordering a pedal, but having to post it there and wait for the repair and postage back would probably take about a month..

I'll see what they say, i think there's one in Sydney and a couple in Victoria. I did already use the sticker and put velcro on the base though, i know if I tried to return it to prymaxe they'd charge me a 25% restocking fee just for that
