Yes sir, many times.

I wonder how heavily they rely on sales of t-shirts. I always buy one.

that's why I was disappointed by the neck.. The one I got to play even had chromes on it  Looks though I think Dingwall and Zon are tits! sadly I haven't played a Dingwall yet.. playing wise I like Zon and Alembic. The thing I don't like most about most high end basses is they mostly come off as bland or too even or flat sounding for me. While I love sustain and punch I NEED a bass that has for better lack of a word "bounce", where the note swells a bit after you hit it verse just rings out, and some designs and pickups just bring that out more [it a natural thing on acoustic instruments] and the way you hit a string and a setup of light stings and higher action will help. For me RICs, OLD fenders [and non of the booteek fender clones I've played are good at this] MM and Lakeland do this on the norm where every other one you find is just luck of the draw.
Melvin Gibbs was probably my main and only influence for buying my 535 based soley on his live performance of that song on SNL in June of '97
He was always a big influence on me in terms of style and tone. I kinda wish I was able to be more comfortable on a fiver because I really miss having that bass :( It was just like his, blue/green Norm Stockton finish, etc..

It's alright though... my octuplet of 435's should hold me :)*

EDIT*

I found it

welllll.... my Elements is out on a tourbox and i have 2 B3k's... so.....

for me the B3k is just exactly the tone i hear when i think of when i think of bass od, so it's perfect for me. that, and the less amount of knobs.... works best for me.

MURRRRF.

not a knock on the Elements at all, just B3k's a better fit for me.

havna tried the Vintage.... same reason. B3k's mah baybay.

I bought a keychain saying I<3Intercourse, PA in high school, and had my car keys confiscated and my parents had to come to school to get them back to give to me so I could drive home. I tried telling the principal "I'm a pimply virgin! I just love the place!"

urf. THAT TIME AGAIN. we go in to record tomorrow.

lol. water pipe burst in their office early this week, we were scared that meant another delay, but they got it up and running super quick.

weather looks good, we leave our yarea about 1 tomorrow, should get us there around 5 or 6.

PREEMPTIVE MOISTENING IS GO.

FYI, I have an Outlaw available. Really like, but doesn't really fit in my setup right now.

Moist is good, gotta keep those delicate parts from getting chapped.

How warm is it there? It's one degree here with wind chill, jackets are kind of a necessity.

That's fucked up.
Who gives a shit how many people you have or haven't boned. It's got nothing to do with a school.

well, i'm from the Yarea, and i don't ever really get cold, but i guess out here 30 or so is crazy cold? that's what it's at at night and in the morn right now.

in Weed where we're going it looks like it's around 5-10 degrees colder? but it was CRAZY (at least for us spoiled mid weather folksorz) snowing last weekend, and it's at the bottom of Mt. Shasta, so.... coats? sometimes?

I broke a string on my bass so I've been fucking around with the other strings until I get a new set, and there really is something to be said about the sound of slack-ass strings. It's really fucking cool. Like, notes bloom with fuzz a certain way, iunno... I like having definition but at the same time it's so much fun....

Also, I think a Tone Machine with my volume knob rolled back is my new OD for the time being. So sweet.

gawd fucking DAMNIT.

ugh. i'm not mad at them, just the situation(s), but we're NOT going up this weekend. some idiot city worker sheared off the main shut off valve for their water or something, which means no running water where they stay and where we would say and the heating system for the GIANT main room doesn't work.....

they want us to come up in a week, but i can't take the time off work. it's our busiest time of the year and instead of 2 days i'd be missing 4 or 5.

looks like not until around the 17th of January.

sad. fucking. TRUMPET.

That sucks. Hanging out in like freezing-ish weather is aiight, but playing music in the cold is really fucking awful.
