or start practicing in front of a mirror, it will get you use to looking forward at your hands and after time you can just see it in your head

every time i practice in front of a mirror i end having sechsual alone times. i am DISTRACTING.

i mean, i don't have to watch every note. but changing position i'm just more comfy watching to make sure i end up in the right place.

fucking douches. we were s'posed to open, 3rd band got stuck and couldn't make it, for some reason that put us 2nd with a fun younger band that opened. but then the "touring" band that's from Chicago (this is a nice music spot, but it's a smaller bar so it's not like they're touring even half stadiums. owner is one of the nicest guys in music i've ever met though.) asked if we could play laat because they have to get on the road.

first they took 30 minutes to soundcheck, then the sound grrL they brought asked us if it's okay if they play over their 45 minute set (i'm not good with people and don't deal with asshole questions well, so i was like, "no. no. NO. and they need to start playing now. NOW.". meh. whatever.), the owner had to come tell to hurry up because we were being nice and giving up the better spot and all our friends bounced since we got bumped from 9 to 11.....

and not only are they fucking horrible but there next show is IN OAKLAND. LIKE 20 MINUTES PAST MY HOUSE.

pure dick-baggery.

Owner wants to give us a better spot with some bands that are doing well out here as a thanks for being cool about it, so that's nice.

well, it was dickery, but talked to the sound grrL and the bass player and the singer grrL afterwards and they were all nice so.... whatevah. the other people in their band? hurrrrrm dunno.

had a blast though. all of our friends left 'cause we told them 9 and went on at like 11.45, but peoples seemed to dig it.

and one of my grrLy friends stayed that i adore and don't get to see enough. gooooood STUFF.

I have mixed feelings about this page. Happiness over Elements acquisition, sadness over Dingwall loss. If that Dinger was up this time last year I would have pounced like a feral cat. Cash is tighter lately. Should have never bought that Fender Jazz5. Basic enough to fit every genre, boring enough that it will never flip.
