I finally got a Cleanness again, can't believe I ever sold my first one. Anyway, this thing RULES. Of course you can use it for the obvious stuff like boosting pedals and/or amps, fine tuning EQ, or adding sparkle and punch to a clean tone but it's capable of sooooo much more. I've used on in the past to actually de-gain a high gain amp and give me a psuedo 2-channel setup which is a cool function.

Another use I found yesterday was running it post dirt/fuzz in some extreme filter settings, get those A Place To Bury Strangers toanz. I ran it head to head with my DBA Kill Kill Filter and the Cleanness crushed it. The KKF is cool but has a really small sweet spot in the filter sweeps. The Cleanness can cop any KKF tone esp when you push the gain up a bit plus so much more. The exp controlled mix lets you truly utilize the filtered settings, sweep it in and out however you please. Awesome pedal! Selling the KKF.

I have a Beast which contains the classic SC and it rules. Def sounds like a muff but lets you add all the mids you want and the depth with tighten up the low end. Gets really tight and heavy, sounds amazing. I hit that '71 preorder too, basically a vintage voice so I'm expecting more fuzz and an overall looser feel. There's a Youtube vid in that Acid Age thread comparing the standard SC to a one-off that was the inspiration for the '71, could be posted here too, didn't really read back thoroughly. Gives a pretty good idea of how they differ sonically.

Though worth a punt. Stereo reverb with 16 settings including gate and reverse for not too much money. Also who can resist pink screenprinting on white...

Sound goes in, lsd comes out  I'd love an Eventide rack unit. Having the Space and Pitchfactor is pretty bad ass but, its still not the same as the Eclipse and more $$$$$$ Eventides though.

So I got a new laptop with my new gear money :( BUT I did have enough left over to get an Ableton Push and it's awesome. Works flawlessly with Ableton 9 and I haven't run into any issues with it. :)

I had all 4 of the ET pedals, and sold all but the pitchfactor to fund the eclipse. Only a couple of the pitchfactor algorithms come in the eclipse, and a couple of the space ones (including mangledverb), but it has everything that's in the modfactor and timefactor, plus I can chain any other effect (or combo effect) to just the reverb signal, or the entire mix, so I have more crazy reverb options now than I ever had in the Space. The only thing I'm going to miss about the factor pedals is all the knobs. I think it's a fair tradeoff for what I'm gaining though...

A buddy of mine has the Eclipes. He also has a .com and Buchla system with a surround sound setup. Time does not exist in his studio Image

I put the Space and Pitchfactor on their own sends and route the outs to another channel instead of the returns. Its pretty cool to feed them back into each other. Yeah, got to have the knobs. Can't you use a midi controller for tweaking parameters in the Eclipse?

Yeah, but I'm not sure I want to invest the time in programming one to control so much. Some of the algorithms have so many parameters that it seems like it would take too long just to set up the controller, so I'd be better off just getting used to the menu-diving.
