Maybe experiment with different tunings or find new things to make noise with, using a the shaft of a screwdriver GSYBE style. Or try fingerpicking more. Buying gear and creative ruts kind of go hand in hand.

Not suggesting that you're going through it or anything.

Anyone else have any ideas as to what Alexander pedals has been teasing on Instagram? Big box version of their delays? In one picture I could make out DSP de...... So I'm thinking maybe DSP development? Who knows!

I don't actually play guitar, just make noise with the pedals and stuff. I am in a creative rut, though. I'm holding off on buying gear after all, I'll just enjoy what I have, play with different setups, and see what happens.

Ya'll have to get in on the DOD Boneshaker, it's fantastic at lower drive settings for that noisy sonic Youth tone, it's super versatile and can nail a gnarly gravelly tone while still managing to make all of your notes sound clear. It's a must for the price. Stacks really well too.

Dammit I keep hearing that it's great for SY tones. But I don't need any more dirt right now! I have an abundance of dirt and nothing else at the moment, and more dirt on the way soon. UGH.

I got mine for $90, it's not that much.

I know exactly what Alexander Pedals is up to. Tonight I'm playing a Smiths tribute set for charity and tomorrow I'm recording some sound samples of our new pedal.
