I'm pretty much sold on it, as I just found out that, instead of patching the Mobius before or after dirt in front of the amplifier, you can patch the pedal before or after the preamp. So I can put the pedal in front of all dirt pedals in the front-end of the Fryette, and send the first output to the input of the amp. Then patch the send from my loop to the second input of the Mobius, and patch the return on the amp to second output on the pedal. This means I can get vibe and all that good stuff before dirt in the front-end, but also can have my trem and flanger in the loop.

Dude that's awesome. I kind of wish I liked modulation more, but I'm glad I don't. Toooo expensive.

Some douche bags playing some riffs and some solo shit that sounds way too good to be not written by a machine.

Is it to late to get in on the Darren lovefest?

Very cool dude, I'm really looking forward to having my ears assaulted by AW again tomorrow. :yay:

Tonight was a no music jam night, so tony and I tore through a few amps and cabs doing maintenance. I'm pretty psyched with what we got done. His bass tonz should be better than ever and we did some serious surgery on the folded horn cab I use for guitar low end. I meant to rewire a 2x12 while we were at it but the speaker guy called today and I might have the 4 ohm speaker back sooner than I thought so we held off on that. Good productive night even though we didn't throw down the METULZ. I also downloaded a sweet app that analyzes frequency's to show whats peaking. I used it to eq the PA so we can crank the mics for vocs without feedback. it worked extremely well. very happy with the results and our new singer should be able to hear himself better than ever. Over all shits really good. I'm really excited about where this is going. hopefully gig ready very soon!

sergiomunoz74 wrote:I like the clean/slight break up of my orange and the F.A.C knob make it the least likely for "one trick pony" category of amps. I haven't even zoned on anything close to dopethrone feel honestly nor do I care. I'm still trying to tweak my amount of dirt/eq together.

The FAC knob is makes those Orange and Matamps so versatile it's ridiculous. I wouldn't really compare the Dopethrone sound to an Orange though because the sound and feel of Dopethrone is all in the FZ-2 fuzz. FZ-2 on mode 2 into a loud clean amp is seriously all of that record. I still miss that pedal like crazy.

I can get my Orange to do pretty much anything. It has such a versatile EQ on it, and handles pedals so well that I can use it for any application.

Hey man, are you from Burlington? My girlfriend and I went to school at UVM and are talking about moving back up there sometime in the next year or so.
