I'm really curious about the Rusty Box but I have a feeling that it would cover a lot of the same ground as a SS/BS Mini. Except with a bigger footprint for more money.

It sound nothing like the the Fuck IMO, so you could probably do both. The Rusty can add a lot of that twangy sound or massive lows. I love it dude. A whole new level of clarity.

I'm not going to lie. The sounds that I heard out of the Rusty definitely influenced my decision to get a Traynor head.

yah. i've only used the Rusty as a preamp, but it's a fair bit different than a Fucker.

Mudsy - you're.... more of a fan of SAC than i am. i dug it a'ight, but the first movie is GHOST IN THE SHELL to me. and always will be. i likededed the second one a lot too, but the first is just transcendent.

even with that crappy 2.0 with all the awful cgi added being the only bluray version.

I was looking for one for more guitary stuff. Not sure if it's suited for bass. Or if bass specific wah pedals are really more marketing exercises than they are a necessity.

The treadle is super creaky. Gonna do some research and see if there is some tear down pointers and try go give the guy a little refurbish.

Yeah that Lucas imitation was very unneeded… I agree the first movie is IT but I I kind'a like everything GITS… I have a most of the manga in one form or another too… You seen the new ones yet? I keep meaning to..

I am going to say that not all Bass Wahs are a gimmick. I had one that absolutely brought the Thunder, it was a lowpass wah and had resonance control, and it did a few other tricks like auto-wah, envelope mode. It was ugly but just a really awesome pedal.
