GAIZ. fuck ME. um. i've been all giddy for the last two days as we did the conversations and worked out the details and all that shits and couldn't say anything.... but Sylvia Massey is this BEAST that produced/recorded with System Of A Down (oh yeah), Sublime (meh), Tool (super meh), Joanna Newsome (YESHHH), some Deftones (hnnnNNNNG).... and we're booked to go into her crazy awesome spot up in Weed (of COURSE there's a town called Weed in Cali) for a 4 day session early December.

it used to be a vaudeville theater in the 20's, she has it setup to do isolated track recordings live, she KNOWS what she's doing, they're doing loads of conversation with us prep work data gathering..... urf.

Behnders, that's awesomesauce!! Mazel tov!
So, just finished up our week of writing and recording. We recorded about 30 new takes for our existing songs, and we wrote 3 new songs, which are about 75% done. We are getting close enough to finishing this album that I can almost smell it. Goddamn, I almost wish I could take like 2 more weeks off of work so we could just finish the damned thing. As it is, we're going to have to do work on it separately nights and weekends and email each other the mixes and cubase tracks.
