hee. they actually DO have Crows Zero on bluray now. just ordered that and Audition and Ichi and Harakiri. which with 13 Assassins is all of his that's on bluray so far.
fuck. gawd i love the Dead Or Alive trilogy. i know he shot a lot of his stuff straight to video, but that doesn't mean i don't want it on bluray.
yah. i don't get that. i rarely pay more than $10 for a bluray unless it's an import. people are silly.

RIGHT ??? FUCKIN RIGHT DUDE??? WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT I WANT DEAD OR ALIVE AND BLACK SOCIETY AND CROWS ZERO EVERYTHING THAT MAKES ME GO YAAAAAAAAAAAAY
I honestly thing the fact that dvds are still around is a sad commentary on our culture. The local walmart drastically scaled back the bluray section in favor of dvds because trailer trash refuse to buy blurays. Like they arent even that much more, am i the only person who remembers media prices in the 90s???? Everyone cries these days when a movie is over ten bucks but forgets that in 1997 cds were like 25 dollars.
Not just cds, dvds were terrible for the first few years, would rarely go down in price. Now it's about 20 on release, you wait a few months it's down to 10.

My GAS right now? The fact that I'll be able to play my own setup in less than 72 hours. This will be the first time in over six months since my European/Australian adventures.
So excited to be going back home to a Custom Shop 339, Danocaster, Matamp 1224mkii, Marshall 4x12 and hoards of pedals I bought while overseas

Woot.

Fuck blu-ray. I still watch VHS and only buy music on vinyl.
I don't want to watch my movies on a "better" format. They're perfect the way they are.

Out:
SS/BS Fuck
DBA Interstellar Overdriver
Ghost Effects Sounds of Today
In:
Boss DD-7
Dirge Soiled Mass prototype
O'hara Amps 15-watt head
O'hara is a local builder who sells stuff through my friends' store. They rarely come in used and they just happened to get one in, so I traded a couple pedals for it. Pretty cool build, has separate slots for a single EL84 or 6L6, with independent gain knobs, T-M-B eq section, and a very usable MV so it doesn't sound like complete shit and can still take pedals at low volumes.

I watched some Super Fuzz demos last night and man is that circuit gnarly.
I'm hoping the Tone Machine I have coming will be enough to satisfy that craving.

They get pretty close to each other for sure. I like the Tone Machine though because it doesn't seem as square in the clipping department
