Not to nitpick but I really do like the jankier graphics on the V.1 and V.2 Supercolliders. The clear coat is flaking off my V.2 and the V.3s finishes look way sturdier,...but the character of the originals is better IMO. Of course if they sound good,...form factor takes a back seat.

I actually like the graphics on it, but I'm really just after something that hits me the right way. The Tall Font sounds much better on my practice amp than it does on my gig rig. If one of these still doesn't hit whatever the magic spot is I'm looking for then I think my next try will be the FEA Photon Fuzz.

I wish I knew exactly what I was looking for, but I'll just keep trying until I find it. It's fun anyway. The perfect fuzz sound is really the only thing I feel like I'm lacking for my gig. I've got filter/phaser, Distortion/Overdrive nailed and am very happy with my Octaver (though it won't stop me from trying some other stuff at some point), so that pretty much just leaves the Fuzz for my current needs.

Early precincts reporting a strong showing for the PPB and the Manx. Supercollider trailing quite a bit.

I think the PPB is probably going to win, but the Manx is a surprisingly strong contender. Of course this is with my little Ampeg B50 and my single humbucker Big Al. Real test is how they'll sound with my Genz Rig (which is a little peculiar with its 12" and two 8" speakers) and my SSS Big Al. I'm pretty secure in saying the Supercollider and Tall Font are going on the block.

Realized this morning that I misread the functionality of the depth knob. Had the knob all the way clockwise instead of CCW for max lows. This why we keep pedals for more than one day before we make a decision.

yeah. Matt said the Tall Font was a more true-to-traditional version while he just did what he thought was best with the PPB. i think he said how the PPB could cop most of the tones the TFR could, but not vice versa as much.

I've been through a LOT of fuzzes...I miss a PPB most of all (besides a 4545..but I'm gettin one again soon...I imagine they make a great pair). I stupidly sold it in favor of the SC. What the HELL was I thinking...
