DAMN.

i mean, mebbe they fixed it? but i had one (noooo idea where it went) a year or so ago, it was horrible. didna work at all well.

I have a B2M as well. The maddening thing about it for me is that it works decently like 80% of the time. I got confident enough with it that we played a couple rehearsals with it, and a gig, and it would seem to be tracking fine, and then it would just PICK THE WRONG DAMN NOTE AND HOLY SHIT NOW I SOUND LIKE AN AWFUL BASSIST THAT CAN"T PLAY IN KEY. Then you're playing fine again for another few bars and HOLY SHIT WRONG NOTE AGAIN. It got really damned maddening because the crowd won't know that it's just a wonky MIDI detector, and not you not knowing how to staying in key.

RADIO MIDI BASS.

only thing i really want as a bass controller.

oof. doublenecks is UGLY. but a Radio Midi Bass on the top to tap to a Minitaur or other awesome madness, then a Dinger on the bottom to play bass on SO FUN GIMME.

No such thing as a Midi pickup. The pickups are hexaphonic which means there is an individual pickup per string, up to 6 strings. They are normal magnetic pickups, then send data about the string to something else that does the pitch-to-midi conversion. They all don't suck but Roland is not too good, lots of latency. Axxon is way better, and Yamaha is pretty damn good.

just watched Ender's Game. fucking FINALLY. so... i didn't breed for reasons. specific REASONS. and it's so annoying trying to schedule stuff with friends that have issues because if their procreation scion machines. like, it's an unavoidable part of getting older. even if i don't MAKE ANY OF THE LITTLE MOUTH BREATHERS.

i liked it a lot. and i LOVE the book. even if Card went a bit off the rails as he got older and is a vaguely racist homophobe. the book is awesome. and it was way more faithful an adaption than i expected.
