Holy fuck! They actually got MORE expensive...ER 301 without a doubt...isn't the build time on that pretty intense though (I can look it up myself).

8 weeks is what I'm seeing people say. I unno man, seems worth it against an OP-1 even in that context.

110%. I just (personally) have a bad habit of buying shit while I wait for shit so it could be deadly ha-ha!

I say go for it!

It was the first time I've ever programmed an Arduino before. Took a while to get the settings right in AVR Dudess and to get the screen up and running.

Er-301 is 8 weeks during the ordering window, but at some point the window will close.

annnnnnnnnd the hum is interference from the springs of the Doepfer spring reverb. HURM.

i had read that if you had the springs outside the rack, they should be isolated enough to not be noisy. butttttttt can't find anywhere within cables reach that it is quiet.

so. dunno. return it? what's another small reverb that is neat butts?

Options to check for small reverb modules :
Erica Synths Pico DSP (has 2 reverb algos and also does other cool things), the Black Hole DSP is its bigger brother
The new 2HP Reverb (no idea how this one sounds though)
The new Synthrotek PT2399 based Verb
If you can find one : Audio Damage Aeverb Mk2 (their new EOS also does tons of things but is bigger and more expensive)

There are also other spring reverb modules but you might run into the same issues...

coooooooool! will RESEARCH.

yeah. i mean. i like the ErbVerb, but i don't think i have room. annnnnnnnnnnd i'm not going to try to get another spring reverb to work again right now.

MOOP. LOOKINGS.

also, if anyone wants some Folktek, i'm not really jelling with these modules. probbbbbably going to list them soon. going to watch some more vids, follow more examples, give them more RUBBINGS.

Nice! Good job getting it going. :thumb:

I would love a microbraids but too scared of the programmy stuff. Might just have to accept expansion and get a regular braids and a new case

Programming isn't too hard! I was definitely afraid of it as well but accepted it as something that I wanted to try out, I would need to do it. I do it through the Mutable VM, but you can just as easily use the ST-LINK with the ST-LINK Utility program and upload hex files that way.

Matter and Conduit I'm assuming? I'd be interested in the Matter..

just poppin in to say I have fallen in love with the phonogene since my last post and have been feeling SO INSPIRED by it. phonogene + mini is the ultimate basinski style set up.. plan on making tape loops with the phonogene and running those back thru it :p
