Hi Everybody. My name is John Birner a.k.a. SoaringTortoise. I build effects and tube amps out of 100% recycled materials. Every electrical component, including circuit boards. are reclaimed from broken and obsolete electronic detritus and re-purposed as useful guitar gadgetry. All the effects and amps are housed in cases made from recycled materials. Totally green, zero carbon footprint. Does anybody else enjoy doing this type thing? There is so much electronic trash cluttering up our world that I hope something like this catches on. +1 - when I first saw the tremolo record player I was blown away. Nice to have you aboard!

Hey everybody! I'm Aaron. Been playing exclusively acoustic for the last several years but with an impending move out of the city and into the wild - and the accompanying acquisition of a huge basement - I'm starting to think about assembling a psychedelic guitarmy. With that comes a near-total re-think of my electric setup, which is what brings me to ILF, on the advice of my good friend jrmy... Looking forward to mining the knowledge of the ILF hivemind!
