As far as sound goes, yes its different than the EHX one that operates differently with more horsepower, I presume they use some FFT analysis etc.
I tried to use some filters to make it less harsh. It also depends on what portion of the sound you freeze and its harmonic content. I tend to use this before any dirt for example as it sounds less synthetic
Thanks man! Yeah, the decaying verb explanation makes sense. It's a great feature, but it's too bad that it makes playing several frozen chords in a row impossible with a Raptio. It's a different take on hold/freeze mode.
Texture-wise, from UC's vids, it seems to me that the Stammen stands in the middle, not as smooth as an ehx, but not as synthetic as a Raptio... Your answer seems to confirm that.
Anyway, looking forward to the next batch!

Anyone get their order yet? My package landed at JFK 4 days ago but nothing yet.

Edit - my delivery person knocked on the door 30 seconds after I posted this

perhaps try checking the tracking number on the USPS website, they have more info usually. They are probably holding them in customs for a check.

I always forget you can do that with all sorts of random tracking numbers. Delivered a bit ago!

Been playing around with my Stamme[n] for the last couple days and it has some fun stuff going on. I appreciate the variety of modes although I tend to live on the two momentary stutter modes and the broken cable simulator. The other modes being latching makes them a little funky for the way I like to play with these types of pedals. Need to spend more time with it to see how it fits with my other pedals.

If you hold the left stomp instead of using the right stomp in the Pitch, Filter or Swell modes, you get momentary instead of latching. I especially like it in swell mode with a long swell time. That way you can sort of "pump" the swelled signal in and out at intervals. :)

In Broken Cable mode, left stomp gives you broken cable all all incoming signal (and the right stomp grabs a sample and adds the effect to that).

Cool to hear your thoughts on it!

Oh yeah I did notice those options. I have a freeze on my board so Im just more likely to use the Stamme[n] for other stuff.

Time zone blues. Alarm clock miscalculations. Mine was air travel. By the time I got cell coverage... sold out blues. So... ready for the flips. Or the second batch?

Is there going to be another run? I have the pennies and hope I don't miss the mailout again if so. Going to go watch UCs demo video again. The vocal fry drives me craazzyy. Faulty lead simulator :)
