I feel like there are several companies doing it better. The work is not awful, from what I can tell, but the craftsmanship seems like it could be stepped up at a tad based on what the Facebook pictures show.

Well, I feel like I'm overhyping them, but Hungry Robot is pretty innovative. All original circuits, no clones. The flagship overdrive (available in a high or low-gain version, or both in one pedal) has a row of eight individual dip switches for tweaking of the sound. Furthermore, their
Starlite reverb is the world's first tap-tempo modulating reverb. It self-oscillates and has huge trails and you can actually set the tempo of that noise to fit what you're playing. From talking to him I know he has other ambient stuff in the pipeline that's going to be pretty cool. At least on a par with OBNE/Mr. Black/those smaller, innovative companies.
I talked with Eric over hype/tgp/P&W.
He doesn't want to use his belief to reach the "superior group of builders to get the all over the hyped buzz". He guesses that's because he doesn't build klones.
I can PM our discussion about that if someone is interested.
So casecandy you're right, he's pretty innovative but don't understand why you think he's a P&W guy.
