Since the begining of winter, my face start to get irritated a bit.
I think I'll try this after shave.
Anybody tried it?

In fact, I think I've given up on aftershave. I really haven't been using the stuff I bought a few months back. I just apply a little Weleda Skin Food (which is what I use to moisturize my hands) to my face after I shave and I'm good.

Can anyone recommend a good electric trimmer/clippers? I like to keep my beard pretty short but the only time I get an even trim is at the hair dresser. Trimmers I've tried give an uneven result and crap out when trimming down a longer beard.

^I use a passive analog trimmer, like so:

..only, the vintage kind, of which I can't find a pic of. (my grandma used it for our dog originally )

I get awesome results with it, and still haven't had to replace the blade. Recommended.

I use my grandpas old canadian airforce issued Gillette, derby blades, boar hair brush and wilkinson soap. I don't grow thick facial hair, but got sick of paying stupid money for Mach 3 blades. I switched a few years back and haven't regretted it at all.

I did end up getting a Wahl Peanut. I've only used it a few times, but I like it so far. It's pretty small. So, it's easy to handle. ( )

I tried clipping the hair on the top of my head with it and the motor isn't quite powerful enough for that, but for beards it's more than fine.

I think getting an even trim is as much about your technique as which trimmer you use.

Mine is an Andis and it's great.

I also have a small Panasonic for the nose and ears.

Holy shit dude just get a cheap one from a department store and spend the rest of the money on pedals.

Done that twice and hate it. When I wanted the trimmed but longer beardage neither of them could do it, and I had to do multiple passes to go from long beardage to short. The clippers weren't sharp enough and the motors weren't good enough. They were fine I guess if you used them every day for just general maintenance

Aw, man, I didn't know that. I should've looked on their international site. It's a pretty popular model. So, I just guessed it'd be worldwide. Sorry.
