As long as you promise to do nothing but drink coffee all day, and don't break my heart, you can be in on it.

Josh Pelican wrote:I will agree with that. If I work a morning shift and don't have coffee at home, I go to work and make a Keurig (or use my own ground coffee for it). I wish I had the time to grind my beans at work.
If I have the energy at home, making coffee is more like art. Bring the water to a boil, weigh out my beans, grind 'em, and stick 'em in my Aeropress. I only use the inverted method. I have more control that way.
EDIT: Emily, can we write an album together? Let's get together, buy a dozen (or more) bags of beans, and just drink coffee and make music.
YES. We have to do it in Nova Scotia, though, I've always wanted to go there!

Really? Why is that?
We can definitely do it here if you ever come to visit! I'll bring you to my favorite coffee shops.

From what I've seen on google images and heard about in Ellen Page interviews, it's beautiful! It's just one of those places I'm attracted to go to, maybe because a great album is waiting to be made there?

Pfft. Ellen Page. She's from one of the most boring places in all of eastern Canada. There are some beautiful places here, that's for sure. I live in the middle of Dartmouth, so it's not like view is all that exciting. I could try to explain some views from my house or from lakes, but you would have no idea what I'm talking about!
When you're right in the middle of Dartmouth or Halifax, it's nothing special. I like to think we make up for it with several local coffee shops. Just Us!, Two if by Sea, Smiling Goat, and Java Blend. I often get free coffee from Just Us! because I'm good friends with the manager.

There are some truly beautiful places that are a few hours away from me. Unfortunately I don't see them often. If my cottage wasn't a two hour drive, we could go there and record. It's completely isolated down there. I'm pretty much on the ocean. I want to record an album on the dock/raft. HOW INDIE IS THAT?!
Greenfuzz should come to my cottage. There's a Tim Horton's camp there.

Import some of this shit from Australia. You'll pay through the ass for postage, but it will taste worse than all other coffees, instantly making anything you can get at your local supermarket super fine snob ass coffee.

Fuck you guys.
I tried to order from four or five companies last night. They either wanted too much for shipping or didn't want to ship to Canada. I went to one of my favorite local shops today and bought some 49th Parallel. I'll survive.
They revamped their store and now use an iPad for a cash register. How's that for hipster coffee?
