That shirt rules for sure but I can't stop gazing at the awesome guitars chilling in the background. You've acquired quite the collection Ryan.

Yeah, custom build to boot. Super cool. There's a thread about it somewhere.....................I think.

Thanks dudes! I'll probably have these same guitars for a really long time.. the Les Paul is the oldest at 12 years. The EGC is my newest and I sort of it consider it my penultimate guitar, the best and last guitar I'll get for years and years, maybe 100 years. The JM is awesome too, totally flat, made by Mario Martin/Guitar Mill in TN. Just needs more aluminum I think...

That's the way to do it Ryan, buy only guitars you plan to keep and strive for a nice variety. You've achieved that for sure, I'd say you're set for at least the next 100 years.
I'm hoping the addition of my EGC will put me in the same mindset as you. Only fear is liking it too much and craving more aluminum, let's hope not.

Ryan wrote:You can use the v3 as two Cosmichoruses using a TRS breakout cable, you just go into the left side, out left into right, out right... and now you have two Cosmichorus pedals in series. (basically sounds more intense and wet than one Cosmichorus)
Wait. Does this mean that if, when using a breakout cable, could in effect have an fx loop by doing this? Run the right out through something else, phaser, octave, bitcrusher, etc., and back through the left side of the cosmichorus, would this be awesome or only half awesome?

I have a feeling you'll be in trouble Schnikes! I've been craving another one ever since I got mine!!!

Is that why you aren't around much anymore? Too busy running tricks trying to get the cash together for another EGC.

Yep, with a breakout cable it's like having two separate Cosmichorus pedals except their controls are connected. So they're both doing the same thing.. but there's two.. and you can use them separately.

What's a breakout cable? Is it a TRS to two TS?

Hmm... So would it basically be like running an effects chain like this: fuzz>cosmichorus>fuzz>cosmichorus>fuzz assuming that there exists nothing but fuzz and cosmichoruses in the world? Would the signal going through the fuzz in the middle be dependent on whether or not the cosmichorus was on, or would it always be in the chain and have a cosmichorus sandwich whenever you turned on the cosmichorus?
Breakout cable is this:
