talk to me about the Flint,
is it much better than the blue sky or just different?
it looks pretty rad but a bit expensive for me atm to just give it a shot
I haven't played a BlueSky.
I went with the Flint because I loved the way the reverbs sounded clean and with the dirt from the Elements.
I tend to prefer "vintage" reverb (including 80's as vintage here) more than "modern" reverb (if that makes any sense at all)...
Plus I love hitting the dispatch master with some pulse from the harmonic trem on the Flint.
I get a very thick sound with this board.
If the Dispatch Master was stereo I would be even happier.
I've been using this board for about a year now...

v1 Small Stone!
That's just Killer.
I may be getting one in the near future....as a gift! Fingers crossed.

I'm inclined to share your sentiment. But why no fuzz, can the elements really cover that ground as well?

When you max out the bass and gain on the Elements you can get it to fuzzify, and that clean up the signal a little with the blend control. Definitely that versatile, in my experience.

Interesting. I typically prefer transistor fuzz to IC/chip fuzz but I've been admiring the Elements from afar...might have to add it to the shortlist thread.
Great. GAS is building to simultaneously get ahold of both an Elements and a Frazz Dazzler and compare the 2.
Expression pedal controls are such a fun feature.
...now while I'm here...might as well consolidate posts...
Here's what came together this afternoon:

Harmonic Percolator > Goodbye 24 > Shape EQ > TB loop-2 (Tall Font Muff+DMM) > Phase-O-Matic > Street Sweeper > Tremolessence
EV-5 controls the Phase-O-Matic's sweep range (Intensity)

Cant wait until my Infinity looper arrives...and I'm not changing a thing until it does!

Yeah....this....this.....RULES.
WORDS FAIL.
I WILL RECORD AND IMMORTALIZE THIS SETUP IF IT DOESNT HIGHLANDER ME FIRST

I change out the elements with a blunderbuss when it's time to fuzz out.
But the elements can get fuzzy.
Its a really fuzzy distortion sometimes.
we call it "fuzzy-d"

bit overkill (the rear row is a pedal train that i can unhook and lift off for a smaller board)

Its a Fuzz Factory with a 3 way sub switch like the mastotron. Thing gets pretty cray

I found the expression pedal input on the Elements not to be of immense use. I think it's always advisable to have the option, and I imagine it'll be great for bass guitars or baritones, but I tend to just set it and forget it. I'll only change it after a long time, just to swap things up a bit. I think I'd find the gain, midrange or bass knob to be more functional as expression pedal control.

I like this. You're the builder of Anarchy Audio? I've been following your stuff for almost a year now. It's excellent. I'd love to try out a couple of the pedals some time when I have more money. Have you done much shipping outside of Australia?
