It looks like I may have found a new band :yay:
It's the Praise-and-Worship band at my church, but, hey, that counts :thumb:
Their main guitarist is moving away in the next few months, so I may have to step up to the plate and take that spot..:idk:
Luckily it's all just simple 5-chord sing-and-play stuff, so it should be easy enough..

I know this is a TB old guy kind of post, but today I put the lid on my board and played my P (in need of attention) straight into the amp.

It felt really refreshing :erm:

Great post. I do this often with just a boost or a delay. It feels really good.

So I just got high and am listening to Beck's The Information paying attention to the layering/ production. Then I realized that one of my stereo speakers wasn't playing. The 1/8" wasn't quite *ahem* "balls deep" so it was only giving me the right speaker signal. Yay discovering more music!!!!

I never use effects on the bass. i just plug it in and go. that's another reason i love playing bass. it's so simple logistically compared to the NASA setup my guitar board is becoming.

I go Bass--->Amp for my band that isn't Mecha Shiva. With the exception of maybe a little boost and an envelope filter,...effects on bass for that outfit aren't necessary.

I totally scored a decent a tent, an espresso machine and a PS2 (sans all the cables needed) out of the dumpster. Our yuppie bitchy neighbors are moving to Seattle (good riddance). I guess the yuppie bitchy MO is to just throw perfectly good shit you don't want away. :whateva:

Ahead of you. We did that a few weeks ago and must have gotten the days wrong; pickins were slim.

EDIT: Oh yeah we also scored a tent off of them bitchy yuppies. Still gotta set it up and see how big it is,....but it's big as far as I can tell. I'm not a tent expert. :idk:
