Like, yeah, I'd totally rock that board, but dude... your guitar. Those controls & reppin' MST3K? You rock.

How do you like that pulsar?
Pulsar is awesome, really sweet sounding trem, sounds great with dirt
Good to hear. I remember being fond of the one you have when I built it

Thanks! MST3K is the BEST! I used 4 months of bandwidth to download the whole thing; so worth it. I've watched a third of it so far. I love these controls. The knob's off an old incubator, and the tone-switch makes it so jangly. Someday, I'm going to make my own pick guard out of steel and send it to Danny to have it etched to look like a crazy 1920's time-machine control-panel

Eh; I've used cheap compressors and an expensive compressor. I've only been satisfied with expensive compressors (FEA Labs OptiFet).
Granted this was in Bass Land.
I'm loving your setup Double A!

Yeah that's kinda what I was expecting to hear

I've heard the FEA is good, and a few others that I'll probably end up checking out, like the engineers thumb / MXR comp deluxe? (the one with the 4 knobs and meter) / and the ashdown comp.
This is in bass land too! Board on the left (PB+, CS-3, BS, VPjr, DI / pre) is bass the board on the right is guitar, I switch off depending on the song.
Why thank you good sir!!!

about that pre-amp.
How do you run that into you guitar cab? Do you use a power block and then run that into the pre-amp or do you use a normal head? I am not understanding how two pre amps would work in a set up. (though I love to just turn knobs and say .. fuck it)

I run it in lo-output mode without the speaker emulator and run it straight into my head like I would any normal dirt box, just adjust the master volume to be unity w/o boost and louder w/ boost. It works great and sound amazing! You can run it into just a power amp and into a cab if you use the hi-output mode, and it has a dedicated recording out thats line level with a switchable speaker cab emulator. It's got all kinds of options that allow you to run it numerous ways, as a dirt box / preamp / or DI, super handy to have around.
