I ordered some flatwounds for my mustangs. Not sure whether to put them on the maple or rosewood fretboard. It's like, make the rosewood super bassy and the maple super bright for contrasting tones or go for similar medium ground on both? I feel like the first would make more sense so that there is more use for both of them. Maybe it'll just have to be one of those things to try and see.
