I wonder if he just keeps losing his password and reacts with, "Ah, fuck it, I'll just make a new one."

Rhys with the hookup for pedals never showing up and getting returned to him weeks later:
I wanted to adjust a few things with the slime pedal because I've made an improvement since I sent it and I wanted to put an extra pedal in your package to make up for the trouble and as a thankyou for all the demos and support.
:!!!:

I wonder what the extra pedal will be, since I've pretty much owned every pedal he's built (disregarding updated models and name changes) except for the Slicer and the Harmonic Energizer. Unless I'm forgetting something...

I don't even think I've seen that one. Is it the same as the pitch monster? Pics?

The Pitch Witch bends the inputs pitch in and out repeatedly at any frequency desired. The effect can be subtle, seductive, hypnotic or disorientating.

The reflective stainless steel dome rests over an pine-wood bottom plate with an inner seal of aluminum to block out radio interference.

I know nearly nothing about this one. When Rhys had it for sale years ago, it was horribly expensive in comparison to his other pedals at that time. That was when a DPM-2 cost 160$ or something like that and this Pitch Witch was 320$ or so. He didn't offer it for a long period. Maybe you can ask him if he would consider a reissue (if the effect is worth it). :idk:

Reverb talk:
The reverbs coming along nice. [...] it's sounding cool. I'm getting real into it, just waiting for orders to arrive. Should have lots of fun stuff out soon.
I've bugged him about making a reverb for so long he should call it UCSlime or something

I hope he applies the 'uneven' aesthetic to the reverb as the circuit bent modulation pedals.

New pedal: Cyclic Interval (it was called Soundflower for like 3 hours  )

Doesn't look bad at all. Interesting. Rhys' eleventy-first PT2399 circuit, eh?

I think it's this one with a bend and some extra controls

Oh. So he's totally into modding/upgrading existing pedals recently. Meh. :hobbes:

I'm with Pepe on this one. I have enough of the modded/upgraded/bent stuff. 4 Total. Can't rationalize another. I still think it is cool but I'm getting the AARP for my next pitch shifter thing.

I will be getting the reverb, which is a bend as well I think, but I might wait for this to drop in price before checking it out (if it's not the extra pedal I'm getting, which it might actually be). I'm fairly set on pitch shifters (PitchFactor, Nemesis, BitQuest).

I'm still curious to hear it. I don't have the $$ to invest in his stuff but I am always curious as to the bends he gets out of pedals. Especially the nux stuff which is so damn tight inside, I'm amazed at how he pulled that off.
