Thoughts? I know we've talked about this pedal before, but this is a better demo.

um. i don't like it. but i usually don't dig on All In One Synth pedals.

it seems better to spend close to the same amount on a good octaver, fuzz and filter.

i DID just get my IE SubTah back from the fix patch. OOF. BEASTIE.

ios7 is.... meh. maybe most of it is stuff i'm not liking because it's different, but not just the aesthetic stuff, every time they do something good it comes with 3 or 4 fucked up things.

the quick access to brightness, volume, flashlight etc is cool. but why can't you customize what goes in there? they moved the way i used to launch the music player without having to keep an icon on my screen. other stuff.

oh fuck. and they RAPED the player. they finally made it so it organizes by album release year inside each artist folder, but when you're in landscape mode it is WRECKED. it's this useless layout of all the albums on your fone. alphabetized by album. it's just.... ugly and does no good. i'm going to have to change the orientation of my car cradle just to see what's playing.

ugh. and that's like the only interactive thing i do with my fone whilst driving, so..... yeah.

A couple of times in my Marketing Management course we have talked about Apple. It is suggested that Apple's current business plan will put them out of business in 7 years or so (unless they change it). The way that Apple essentially "breaks" their old technology in order to force the customer to upgrade (you can hold out for awhile but after a few years nothing is compatible with what you have).

seriously. with that Good PR Asshole Devil Face gone and no longer in charge of their company i was actually excited about the new phone announcement. was sure they would have a larger screen because OBVIOUSLY THAT'S WHAT PEOPLE WANT.

and they pulled out.... colored cases. and a cheaper plastic version.

IDIOTS.

if i wasn't so invested with the 'pad for music i would have bought a Galaxy or some other huge screen Android by now. and then been bummed that the H9 doesn't have an app yet for Android. but still.

with the easier to use and better designed cloud based storage available and Opera doing the cross computer/fone/tablet bookmark and open tab sharing, when my next upgrade comes out if they still have the same relatively dinky phone that is basically the same as the first model physically, it's going to be a hard call whether to stay with a company that i hate that more music stuff is available for, or moving to a better fone that actually lets you control how it works.

Apple's not going anywhere anytime soon. Anytime you hear somebody say something like take it with a huge grain of salt.

There is always the caveat that Apple can change some key elements of their strategy.
Apple's Gross Margin is over 40% on an iPhone. The U.S. market is WAY different than the world market. Apple is unwilling to make deals with China Mobile in order to make their phones more available there, much less India as well. Those 2 countries represent 2/7 of the World population.
A lot of customers in the U.S. are feeling like Muddbutt and Behnderz, and we have lots of choices.

I personally doubt that 7 years is anything realistic.
Though in 2005, who would have thought that Nokia was going to be almost nonexistent in 2013 (although Microsoft did just buy them, so maybe Nokia will make a comeback as a Windows Phone Platform).
