Aye. ZVex is stepping it up these days.
Apparently this is a new Fuzz Factory design that can store presets. It's not confirmed, but that's what the general consensus is. ]
Did you see this?
http://statigr.am/p/481865360640600358_27005793
If it's the same thing looks like theres no presets (idk why anyone would want presets in a fuzz pedal anyway)
people still dont seem to know what the centre hole is for (joystick, tube, led?)
knowing zvex it will be well out of my price range though

Oooh that's interesting! I hadn't seen that before, but it definitely confirms the FF part of the pedal. Oddly enough, the Fuzz Factory would be the only fuzz pedal where I'd want presets (since it's so versatile) but I'm really curious as to what's going to go in the middle hole. I'm also secretly hoping the "Tone" footswitch is actually an oscillation switch.

Shit. I think I'm going to have to buy this.
http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/van/msg/3916943254.htmlOnly $500, which seems damn cheap, and by the serial number it's a '73 or '74, not '82 like the ad says. I emailed the guy, I'll probably nab it if it's still available Sunday. Then I'll sell my fairly recently acquired old Guyatone electric and a couple of pedals to recoup the costs. Or potentially flip the Bronco for a profit in a couple of months.

I bought one a few years ago for $450 shipped to Australia from the US. Still regret selling it but the neck was just too small for my huge hands

Jerms FZ-1 should be delivered today. Sucks that I have to work until 5 but once I get home I'm hoping to take it to my drummers house for a nice jam sesh.
Either way, I'm really excited to get it

So many delays, so little time. So excite

Well it looks like I'm not buying the Fender Bronco I posted last night. I never heard back on it and the ad's been deleted, so I guess I was too late. Oh well, probably for the best anyway.

Just scored a 70s(?) EHX Polyphase on feebay for $100 shipped!
Pretty paranoid about vintage stuff though so hopefully it's not DOA.

tight! the old metal EHX boxes look so neat aesthetically, what's with the boss sticker?

yeah I'm not too fond of the XO series but the big box ones are cool. I think the sticker was just randomly stuck there
It's a little worn but was tested and supposedly works fine which is good. at least i can flip it for at least what I paid if I don't dig it. Always wanted to try an envelope phaser.
Nearly bought a tube zipper yesterday too but kinda glad I didn't cos the power requirements on those are a pain.

Awesome score @backwardsvoyager. Even if it's DOA, at that price send it to Howard Davis for fixing and you'll still come out ahead.
ChetMagongalo wrote:tight! the old metal EHX boxes look so neat aesthetically, what's with the boss sticker?
They really do. There's something extra appealing about a row of them, lined up....with clean seams because EHX had the sense to use top-mounted jacks across the entire line; pretty much before anyone.
Someday I want to build a PT2 with
Octave Multiplexer > Deluxe Big Muff > DMM >
Clone Theory > Deluxe Electric Mistress > Polyphase
in 2 perfect rows

Tell me what you think of that 616 dark. Looks really damn cool. I have been missing my delay since I sold it and donated the funds to JWAR's sister charity drive. Then again I have flipped so many delays at this point I am not going to rush into another one until I can either get it second hand or on sale.
I also have to you know, play more often.
